Soccer Game Preview: Houston Academy vs. Lee-Scott Academy

The Houston Academy Raiders will take on the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Houston Academy sitting on nine straight victories and Lee-Scott Academy on five.

Houston Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Providence Christian a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Houston Academy, who have now won 17 contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Lee-Scott Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Houston Academy, their win bumped their record up to 21-1-3.

Everything went Houston Academy's way against Lee-Scott Academy in their previous matchup back in April, as Houston Academy made off with a 6-1 victory. In that game, the Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
