Volleyball Recap: West Lowndes Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Lowndes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Smithville Seminoles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seminoles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

West Lowndes was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Smithville work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-29, 27-25, 25-15.

West Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Smithville, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Lowndes will face off against Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithville, they will venture away from home to face off against Okolona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
