Basketball Recap: Abbott Comes Up Short

Abbott was the 42-38 winner over Avalon when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 39-28 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abbott now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Avalon, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Abbott will face off against Hubbard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avalon, they will square off against Trinidad at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
