Recap: Racine Park Panthers vs. Kenosha Tremper Trojans

The Racine Park Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 54-41 to Kenosha Tremper. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Racine Park in their matchups with Kenosha Tremper: they've now lost five in a row.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Myasia Bostick, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Bostick is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. Addison Betker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Racine Park has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Kenosha Tremper, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Racine Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Creek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Racine Park in Wisconsin (Oak Creek is ranked 97th, while Racine Park is ranked 252nd). As for Kenosha Tremper, they will head out on the road to square off against Kenosha Bradford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Bradford is on a three-game streak of home wins, Kenosha Tremper a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
