            Baseball Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Mountlake Terrace Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Jackson put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout  on Monday. They never let the Mountlake Terrace Hawks get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. Fans of the Timberwolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Quinten Johns made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news, Jackson got a big performance out of  Gavin Clark, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  Clark a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Austin Halvorson, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 Jackson was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .448. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountlake Terrace only posted a  batting average of  .143.
Jackson's win bumped their record up to 3-0.
 Coming up, Jackson is taking a road trip to  square off against Mount Vernon  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Mountlake Terrace, they will host Seattle Prep  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
