Basketball Recap: The Webb School Takes a Loss

The Webb School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 77-43. The Feet lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-57 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why The Webb School lost, don't look at Teo Cuk. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Cuk continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kipras Redeckas, who earned eight points.

The Webb School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Battle Ground Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Webb School will head out to face off against Franklin Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Zion Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
