Softball Recap: Midview Middies vs. Steele Comets

After losing to Steele the last time they met, Midview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Midview Middies had just enough and edged the Steele Comets out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Midview.

Savannah Holcomb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Holcomb has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Holcomb was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a run.
