Basketball Game Preview: Trenton Tigers vs. Forest Wildcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Trenton Tigers duke it out with the Forest Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday... Trenton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.

Trenton is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Bradford: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went Trenton's way against Bradford on Saturday as Trenton made off with a 54-31 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Trenton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Koi Perry led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Perry a new career-high. Nyima Gillyard was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Forest came up short against West Port last Friday and fell 52-44.

Trenton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
