Basketball Recap: Wellsville-Middletown Comes Up Short

Wellsville-Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The match between them and the Chamois Pirates didn't end well, with the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers falling 53-35. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 52-26 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wellsville-Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chamois, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Wellsville-Middletown will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Missouri Military Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chamois, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bourbon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bourbon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
