Volleyball Recap: Sylvan-Lucas Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sylvan-Lucas and Rock Hills, and Rock Hills kept the tradition alive. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Grizzlies on Tuesday. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14.

Ally Beck was the offensive standout of the match as she had 22 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Sylvan-Lucas has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season. As for Rock Hills, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Sylvan-Lucas and Tescott will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. As for Rock Hills, they will welcome Thunder Ridge on Saturday.
