Basketball Recap: Keota Comes Up Short

Keota lost against Clayton back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Keota Lions fell 37-29 to the Clayton Bulldogs.

Keota's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Clayton, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Keota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-12 win against Bokoshe on the 10th. As for Clayton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-11 loss against Buffalo Valley on the 10th.
