Baseball Recap: Sandpoint Takes a Loss

Sandpoint lost against Moscow on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 15-5 to the Bears. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Lehman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Sandpoint's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-2 (and 4-10 when he doesn't).

Sandpoint's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Moscow, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Sandpoint will welcome Lewiston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moscow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
