Walsingham Academy extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-0. They enjoyed a cozy 70-51 victory over the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

As for Summit Christian Academy, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-3. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Walsingham Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Summit Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Courtland Reiter, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 45.1% of the Eagles' points, marking the fifth time in a row Reiter has posted more than a third of the team's points. Nehemiah Perez also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walsingham Academy will challenge Veritas School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will face off against Hampton Roads Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
