Volleyball Recap: Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees vs. McMullen County Cowboys
While Tuloso-Midway's victory against McMullen County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors & Cherokees won by a set and slipped past the Cowboys 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors & Cherokees have posted since August 16th.
Tuloso-Midway was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-10, 15-12.
Isabella Garcia paced Tuloso-Midway's offense, picking up 27 kills. Garcia got some help from Ariella Esquivel and her 35 assists. Finally, Chloe Kimpton kept Tuloso-Midway's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
