Soccer Recap: Daniel Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

While Daniel's victory against Greer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Yellow Jackets on Wednesday. Gibson Yoder had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Daniel.

Daniel is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those eight games. As for Greer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Daniel has already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Southside Christian on the 11th. As for Greer, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Travelers Rest on the 15th.
