Softball Recap: Edisto Cougars vs. Lee Central Stallions

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Edisto had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lee Central Stallions with a sharp 22-12 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Edisto as it spelled an end to their 22-game losing streak dating back to last season.

For Lee Central's part, KeMyra Dennis stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennadie Holloman, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4.
