Volleyball Recap: Canon City Extends Winning Streak to Four

Canon City entered their tilt with Harrison on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on October 2nd.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Canon City was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Canon City was led to victory by Ellee Carr and Raegen John. Carr had six digs and four aces, while John had 12 digs and three assists. Those four aces gave Carr a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Canon City was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive contests.

Canon City's record is now 16-5. As for Harrison, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
