Basketball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Hyde Park lost against Marian Catholic back in November of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hyde Park Thunderbirds took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marian Catholic Spartans.

Hyde Park now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Marian Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Hyde Park will be playing at home against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 games -- so hopefully Hyde Park likes a good challenge. As for Marian Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Christ the King at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
