Softball Recap: Capuchino Comes Up Short

Capuchino's tournament run continued when they took on Calaveras on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 5-1 to the Red Hawks.

Avery Motroni made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Capuchino's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Calaveras, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

Coming up, Capuchino will challenge San Mateo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calaveras, they will face off against Inderkum at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Red Hawks are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
