It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Los Molinos had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Maxwell Panthers out 37-35. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Harrison Hamre continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 15th straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season. Los Molinos also got help from Karson Fox, who showed off his sure hands for 132 receiving yards.

Loss or not, Maxwell got some senior leadership from Noel Velazquez and Walter Avery. Velazquez rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns, while Avery gained 76 total yards and three touchdowns. Avery is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Los Molinos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Maxwell, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.
