Basketball Game Preview: Sinton Pirates vs. Victoria East Titans

The Sinton Pirates will face off against the Victoria East Titans at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sinton has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 12th.

Sinton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 66-44 to Boerne-Champion. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1438th, while the Chargers are ranked 56th).

Meanwhile, Victoria East made easy work of El Campo on Saturday and carried off a 60-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Victoria East has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Sinton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
