Imperial is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Southwest EC to the tune of 57-0 on Friday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Eagles are ranked 910th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Christian entered their tilt with Morse on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took their match with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over the Tigers. The Patriots pushed the score to 35-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had no chance of recovering from.
Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleb Runkle out in front who threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing. Jacob Morones was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Imperial's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Imperial was taken down by Christian 40-13 in their previous matchup back in September of 2016. Thankfully for Imperial, Joey Morones (who rushed for 120 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 48 receiving yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
