Softball Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for First Assembly Christian's offense. They came up short against the St. George's Gryphons on Thursday, falling 17-0. The defeat leaves the Crusaders still looking for their first win of the season.

First Assembly Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. George's, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Coming up, First Assembly Christian will be playing at home against Fayette Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. George's, they will venture away from home to take on Evangelical Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.15 runs per game on average), something the Gryphons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
