Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Cashion's 13th in Last 16 Outings

Cashion posted their biggest victory since January 14th on Friday. They put the hurt on the Blackwell Maroons with a sharp 52-32 win. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Maroons are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cashion has also been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Blackwell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-12.

Cashion will host Fairview at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairview will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Cashion surely won't give up without a fight. Blackwell has already played their next game (against Newkirk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
