Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cornerstone Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 38-25 win over the Legacy Christian Academy Rams on Saturday.

Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will welcome First Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin Classical on January 17th.
