Baseball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant managed to slip by South Salem the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Generals lost 10-3 to the Saxons on Wednesday. The contest marked the Generals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for South Salem, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grant will head out to challenge Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Generals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Salem, they will square off against Mountain View at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
