Basketball Game Preview: Bangs Dragons vs. Ozona Lions

The Bangs Dragons will face off against the Ozona Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Bangs made easy work of Miles and carried off a 54-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Braxton Wommack was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 78% from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points along with five boards and three steals. He is becoming a predictor of Bangs' success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 5-1 (and 12-13 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Alqorum, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ozona hadn't done well against Reagan County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Lions walked away with a 44-34 victory over the Owls.

Bangs' record is now 17-14. As for Ozona, their record now sits at 6-14.
