Oblong entered their tilt with Robinson on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Maroons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 6th.

While Oblong might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Robinson scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Oblong's offense was headlined by Macy Krick and Ella Jenkins, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Brylee Murray and her 13 assists. Jenkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Oblong's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Robinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Oblong wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dugger Union on the 23rd. Robinson has also already played their next game (against Dieterich), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
