Softball Recap: Knoxville Central's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Campbell County last Thursday, Knoxville Central came back down to earth. Knoxville Central fell just short of the Heritage Mountaineers by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The loss was the Bobcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Knoxville Central fell to 5-1. As for Heritage, their record now sits at 8-3.

Knoxville Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-2 victory against William Blount on the 21st. As for Heritage, they will take on Lenoir City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
