Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Northeastern

There's no place like home for Northeastern, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over the Pasquotank County Panthers on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-28 two weeks ago.

Pasquotank County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Anylah Bowe, who dropped a triple-double with 14 points, 15 rebounds, and ten blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ka'Leigha Person, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 15 points and four steals.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games.
