Football Recap: Lamar Texans vs. Heights Bulldogs

Lamar had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-3 to make it four. They claimed a resounding 43-10 victory over the Heights Bulldogs. The Texans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 31 points or more this season.

Jayden Robins had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 110 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Lamar's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.
