On Saturday, Arizona College Prep faced Sunnyside in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Arizona College Prep Knights came up short against the Sunnyside Blue Devils, falling 5-1. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sunnyside, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
