Basketball Recap: Windermere Prep Extends Winning Streak to Four

Windermere Prep waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Andrew Jackson Tigers by a score of 64-52. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Tigers are ranked 87th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaycie Corley, who posted 14 points. Madison Holmes-Price was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Windermere Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Andrew Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Windermere Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-56 win against Horizon on the 27th. As for Andrew Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-36 defeat against Leesburg on the 27th.
