Pierce Pirtle Turns in Season-Best Performance
Pierce Pirtle produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hamshire-Fannett to the win on Friday. Pirtle rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The victory (which was Hamshire-Fannett's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Pirtle and Hamshire-Fannett will be playing at home against Tarkington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Isaiah Reed produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hamshire-Fannett to the win on Friday. Reed rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 52 yards.
This season, Reed has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 49 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14 rushing yards per game.

Bryson Made His Presence Known in Hamshire-Fannett's 42-20 Win
Hamshire-Fannett picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ty Bryson. Bryson turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes.
For the season, Bryson has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 269.3 passing yards per game.

Rounding off our Top Five is Weston Hoffart of Shepherd. Hoffart forced a fumble and made nine total tackles.
