Recap: Newton County vs. Northeast Lauderdale
Newton County's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They didn't even let Northeast Lauderdale onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The victory was just what Newton County needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Brian Sanchez -Millan, who's now up to five this season.
Newton County's win bumped their record up to 6-9-4. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newton County will take on Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Northeast Jones at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th.
