Football Recap: Mastery Piles Up the Points Against Elizabeth

Mastery's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They breezed past the Elizabeth Minutemen to the tune of 27-0. Fans of the Warrior have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Mastery pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 32.3 points thus far. As for Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1-1.

Mastery and Elizabeth will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Warrior see the field they'll take on Burlington City at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Elizabeth, their break will end when they face J.P. Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
