            Volleyball Recap: West Port Wolf Pack vs. Spruce Creek Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            West Port and Spruce Creek squared off in some playoff action  on Monday, but West Port had to settle for second. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolf Pack of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2022.

 Despite the  defeat, West Port saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Luis Monserat  had 29  digs and four  aces. Monserat has been hot for a while, having  posted 18 or more  digs the last ten times he's  played.
This is the second loss in a row for West Port and  nudges their season record down to 12-12. As for Spruce Creek, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record  this season.
 West Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spruce Creek, they will square off against Creekside at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
