Basketball Recap: Ponca's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ponca). They blew past the Crofton Warriors 70-37 on Tuesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Crofton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Blayke Skillings, who posted 12 points. Skillings is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Allen, who earned nine points.

The victory (which was Ponca's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Crofton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
