Softball Recap: Mize Bulldogs vs. Loyd Star Hornets
Mize had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 20-13-1 to make it four. They came up short against the Loyd Star Hornets, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since March 2nd.

In other batting news, Maddie Kate Britt was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Kay Lofton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
