Volleyball Game Preview: Mission San Jose Warriors vs. Washington Huskies + Official Tickets

The Mission San Jose Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Washington Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Mission San Jose came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to James Logan. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since September 18th.

Mission San Jose's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sumedha Mamidi, who had 18 assists and ten digs, and Evelyn Ho, who had 14 digs and two aces. Mamidi has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Meanwhile, Washington entered their tilt with Irvington on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Washington took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Mission San Jose, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
