Volleyball Recap: Brandon's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brandon took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Ocean Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Greyhounds on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Brandon was led to victory by Karley Grantham and Katie Thorthon. Grantham had 13 assists and eight digs, while Thorthon had ten digs and two assists. That's the most assists Grantham has posted since back in September of 2024.

Brandon's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Ocean Springs, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Brandon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Our Lady Academy on the 2nd. As for Ocean Springs, they will face off against Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
