Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

West Middlesex lost against Mercer on September 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Big Reds came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-1. West Middlesex were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Davis, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Middlesex and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Mercer, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

West Middlesex wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 11-2 defeat against Sharpsville on the 2nd. As for Mercer, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Kennedy Catholic on the 2nd.
