Edison proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Jefferson Mustangs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Golden Bears: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in January, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Edison now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jefferson, they moved to 13-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Edison will be playing at home against Seguin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
