After losing to Oak Mountain the last time they met, Vestavia Hills decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rebels put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. Considering the Rebels have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Vestavia Hills and bumps their season record up to 20-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Oak Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-15.

Vestavia Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
