After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Sisters, La Pine was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Elmira Falcons with a sharp  10-4 win. Considering the Hawks have won seven matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Riley Flack made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. He also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because La Pine is 4-2 when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 6-7 otherwise. Flack was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run.
 In other batting news, La Pine let  Dayton Wilkinson and  Jesse Hanner run wild. Wilkinson  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Hanner  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Wilkinson has become a key player for La Pine: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Bryson Adams, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
La Pine has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Elmira,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-9.
 Coming up, La Pine will challenge Creswell at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elmira, they will square off against Sisters at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Outlaws have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three games.
