Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Academy came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pacific Ridge Firebirds, falling 9-1. The Crusaders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Firebirds from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

St. Joseph Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asher Larkin, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

St. Joseph Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pacific Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

While St. Joseph Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
