Basketball Game Preview: Falls City Tigers vs. Weeping Water Indians

The Falls City Tigers will challenge the Weeping Water Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Falls City will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Auburn, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Falls City secured a 33-27 W over Auburn on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Weeping Water's strategy against Sterling on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Weeping Water blew Sterling out of the water with a 57-23 final score. The Indians pushed the score to 43-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jets had little chance of recovering from.

Falls City better focus on containing Kalison Miller and Brinkley Mcadams as the pair were huge in Weeping Water's win. Miller posted 16 points, while Mcadams earned 14 points. Kaylea Mccaulley was another key player, putting up eight points.

Falls City's record now sits at 6-11. As for Weeping Water, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Falls City came up short against Weeping Water when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 42-38. Can Falls City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
