Baseball Recap: Lakeland Sets Scoring Season-High Against Sandpoint

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeland). They skirted past the Sandpoint Bulldogs 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since April 9, 2024.

Lakeland let Griffin Tamangi and Jace Taylor run wild. Tamangi went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Taylor scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Those RBI marked the first that Tamangi brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Lund, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
