Baseball Game Preview: Argyle Scots vs. Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions

The Argyle Scots will challenge the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Argyle has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 18.

Argyle fell victim to Fort Ann and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 17-0.

Meanwhile, Berlin/New Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to Salem.

Berlin/New Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Argyle, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Argyle skirted past Berlin/New Lebanon 5-4 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
