Volleyball Game Preview: Lemont Lemont HS vs. Reavis Rams

Lemont and Reavis are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2021, but not for long. The Lemont HS will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Lemont didn't have quite enough to beat Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South and fell 2-1. The Lemont HS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lemont started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Reavis waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Reavis easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

Lemont's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Reavis, they pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
